There are two novels and one novella in the Cash Chronicles series which have been published, and they're currently gaining traction. In the meantime, I've decided to flesh out more of the Cash Chronicles universe for those who are interested in delving a little bit deeper. These short stories are all free, and they all endeavor to take you someplace different within my world.
Book 1 has two primary stories which dovetail in Book 2. One of them takes place in 1880, the other in 1885. These short stories fill in the time gap one day at a time. Writing them is a blast.

On September 2nd, 1880, an attack was made on Fort McDowell by a combined Apache and Yavapai ambush; little did they know there were also Mutations in the mix!

September 4th, 1880. Solomon Spectre has co-opted the body of the Mutation Oviedo in an effort to better understand the how and why of Mutations, and quite possibly, Creation itself. We first formally meet Solomon in Book 1, but this is a look at the world exclusively through his eyes.

September 10th, 1880. A hunting expedition in British India turns up a bizarre creature...and ends badly.
September 11th, 1880. The Mutation Murder Squad meets a new prospective member, and hunts a local Mutation!
September 12, 1880. It's the second adventure of P.I. Saul Driver, and this one's a masterpiece! He comes upon a caravan to investigate the murder of a Gypsy, and encounters his new rival, fresh from the Department of Mutation Affairs! To say that they clash is putting it mildly. There's also a Mormon priest in the mix. Before you nitpick the details, remember that there were many splinter groups from the main church, and some of the priests may indeed have been called "Father". I do my homework!
September 13, 1880. As Melissa Revere, a core character from book 1, leads the Mutations of Phoenix to a new land, they meet someone new. But will this be a friend or an enemy? Will they get to their destination safely?
